Holiday season is always a good time to do business. Deloitte, in its annual holiday economic forecast has predicted that the total retail sales this holiday season will increase 5 –5.6 percent, with online sales to rise 17–22 percent.
This is great news. These statistics will only encourage us marketers to ideate better for creative email campaigns that will attract more traffic to the site. First things first, keep it simple. Nobody enjoys jarring images or text-heavy emails. People are in a mood to celebrate and will not go through long emails.
